The Livermore Science and Society Center received a mini-grant from the Rotary Club of Livermore to develop an experiment on insulation with the Livermore Valley Unified School District. The experiment would demonstrate the value of insulating homes and new compostable insulating materials that can be used for shipping cold items. Barbara Hickman presented the award to Regina Brinker, STEM coordinator for LVUSC, and Alan Burnham.
