On November 7, Lawrence Livermore Director Bill Goldstein (left) presented a $10,000 check to Vaughn Draggoo (right) and Alan Burnham as part of the $150,000 Community Gift Program of Lawrence Livermore National Security LLC. The award will be used to create a new set of climate-related exhibits for our 2020 outreach program, which will include science fairs, school visits, and summer programs for underserved children in the East Bay and Tracy. These exhibits will explore the science that drives climate, both in the past and future, local and regional impacts of our evolving climate, and technologies to mitigate those impacts.
