Ever wonder what it will take to have inexpensive, reliable, and carbon-free energy? It turns out that an electric grid system has lots of moving parts–literally. East Bay Community Energy (EBCE) has provided a grant to Quest to create a set of interactive exhibits to explore different kinds of energy, when and how much wind and solar energy is available, and how storage plays a critical role in having light when you flip the switch after the sun goes down. Mark your calendar for May 2 when Quest will debut these exhibits at the Livermore Innovation Fair. EBCE’s support will bring these exhibits to other community events and classroom activities in 2020.
