On July 23, the Livermore City Council unanimously approved a motion directing staff to enter into negotiations with LSSC for a development agreement that would provide more certainty in zoning requirements for our building. This supplements a previous decision to negotiate a disposition and development agreement, which focuses more on the long-term lease aspects of the city land on which the building would be constructed. On July 26, the final drafts of our visitor experience and business plans were presented for review and comment to stakeholders representing a broad cross-section of the community. These plans, along with our preliminary building design portrayed in the artist’s rendering, are important milestones in our development process.
