On September 11, LSSC CEO Monya Lane described our progress on educational outreach activities and the design of our downtown Livermore facility at the monthly dinner meeting of the Valley Study Group (VSG). The presentation included artist’s conceptions of the planned visitor experience, one of which is shown here. Founded in the late 70’s, VSG is a Tri-Valley group, largely comprised of LLNL and Sandia Lab retirees, that improves communications between the Lab, local residents, and the community; and studies important issues affecting the Tri-Valley, the state of California, and the nation.
